Advice On Abusive Relationships
Could this relationship turn abusive?! advice pls?
well my friends keep thinking my relationship might turn abusive and I want other peoples opinion. I’ve been dating this guy for a month now and he’s super jealous and he told me he can’t control it. If he see’s me talking to another guy on myspace or something he wants to cuss the guy out or hit him & sometimes he thinks i’m “cheating”. yesterday he had to work late and he thought i was probably talking with another guy. he has a really bad, short temper but he cares alot about me. my guy friends have told me that he really must cares since he has all that jealousy. for example this recent weekend one of my long-time friends (a guy) added me on myspace & he commented on my photo. my bf immediately sent my friend a message cussing him out. but then my bf apolygized after i told him i was upset about it. i believe he’s just the type of person that likes to express his emotions but my close friends think differently. from what i’ve told you so far, what do you think?!
It’s a distinct possibility that this could turn physically abusive at some point. I would say from an emotional standpoint it is already that way, or very close to it. Sounds like this guy has some serious problems. Normal people don’t act that way.
